Isak Pretorius works to aid children in Africa by supplying quality education, nutrition and hygiene
WASHINGTON, DC, August 19, 2010 /Medical PR News/ -- Isak Pretorius, Chief Executive Officer of Joint Aid Management, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in public services.
In 1999, Mr. Pretorius obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of South Africa. 11 years later, he serves as the chief executive officer of Joint Aid Management, where he applies commitment and persistence to his job on a daily basis. Utilizing years of experience in the industry, he manages the organization, oversees high level professional management, conducts auditing, regulates compliance and generates partnerships, funds and investments. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization, The Alliance to End Hunger and the Alliance for Global Food Security. Isak recently co-founded a company called African Commercial Development (ACD), focused on agribusiness investments in Africa. Isak will be launching the African Commercial Development fund later this year as a private equity fund investing in African business.
Joint Aid Management is an African-founded, registered non-profit Christian humanitarian relief and development organization, with 25 years of experience in sustainable development. Currently aiding over 550,000 children, the association offers programs on nutritional and school feeding, assistance to orphans and vulnerable children, provision of water and sanitation, skills development, community training on agricultural development, income generation projects and HIV/AIDS programming.
