MEMPHIS, TN, August 30, 2010 /Medical PR News/ -- Marilyn Whitney, Staff Nurse at Methodist South Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in neonatal nursing.

Ms. Whitney, who wanted to be a pediatric nurse since she was a teenager, is set to reach the highest point of her career to date when she receives an award for being one of the top 12 nurses in America for 2010. She has previously been honored with a Nursing Star award and been included in a list of top 100 nurses in Tennessee three times. She credits the fulfillment of her lifelong dream to her faith in God, compassionate nature, and ability to learn quickly.
