Providence Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center Joins New Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network

Providence Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Zeeland is the newest member of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network.

    GRAND RAPIDS, MI, September 30, 2011 /Medical PR News/ -- Providence Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Zeeland is the newest member of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network.

The network is an innovative alliance of hospitals and providers formally integrated with an independent Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. The network is designed to extend Mary Free Bed's expertise as one of the leading rehabilitation hospitals in the Midwest to other settings to create a seamlessly integrated system of rehabilitative care for patients. Providence of Zeeland is the first Lakeshore healthcare provider to join the network, which was launched in June.

Providence of Zeeland provides subacute rehabilitation services, respite care, skilled nursing care and specialized dementia care. As part of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network, Providence will utilize Mary Free Bed therapists to provide physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
