Wypkema to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Healthcare Industry. As a Consultant Haematologist with Lancet Laboratories, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Dr. Wypkema has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Dr. Wypkema is currently responsible for heading the Coagulation Unit and Anticoagulation Clinic as well as managing the Lancet Laboratory services at their Lancet Corner Depot, the Donald Gordon Medical Centre, and Arwyp Medical Centre. She started with Lancet Laboratories as a consultant in the Department of Haematology where she established the first full Coagulation Laboratory in private practice in 1990.
During her collegiate career, Dr. Wypkema earned her Medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 1991. She is a member of the International Society of Hematology and the European Hematology Association.
