Dana M. Gullitti Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who
Dana Gullitti Goes the Extra Mile for the American Red Cross
FARMINGTON, CT, November 28, 2011 /Medical PR News/ --Dana M. Gullitti, Manufacturing Technologist II in the American Red Cross Quality Control Laboratory, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in laboratory testing. She has been selected as a VIP Member for 2011-2012.
Ms. Gullitti has three years of experience in her field and is expert in the areas of quality control, data analysis and equipment troubleshooting. In her two years with the American Red Cross as a manufacturing technologist, she has overseen the manufacture of products pertaining to blood and platelets and worked diligently to review, test, and provide monthly quality control, complying with all industry standards.
Ms. Gullitti has always enjoyed science, and wanted to use that interest to help others; thus, she was attracted to a career in the health care industry. A very hard-working and dedicated individual, she attributes her success thus far to her perseverance. She is proud to have earned a bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, with honors, in just three years instead of the typical four, graduating from the University of Hartford, summa cum laude, in 2009.
She is certified as a medical laboratory scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and continues to be a member of the organization. She also holds memberships to the Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society, ASCLS, and National Society of Leadership and Success. Moreover, Ms. Gullitti is a Member with the Highest Honor of the North American Scholar Consortium and has earned an Essential Piece Award for her work with the American Red Cross. In the future, she intends to complete a master's degree and pursue a Ph.D. After attaining a master's degree, she hopes to broaden her field of work beyond laboratory science and expand into other areas of the health care field.
