As a Technical Service Manager with Vertec Scientific South Africa, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Minnaar has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1978, Vertec Scientific has built up an enviable reputation for delivering and supporting quality products over a wide range of modalities, including dosimetry, radiotherapy, treatment positioning, high quality aprons, bone densitometry scanning, and digital radiography. Vertec Scientific South Africa opened in 2006 with a vision of replicating the success of Vertec in the United Kingdom. Awarded representation of all Hologic's products in December 2006, Vertec has catapulted Hologic's digital mammography products to #1 in the South African market.
Frederik is responsible for project and operations management, sales, marketing, engineering planning and design as well as the negotiation of service agreements. During his collegiate career, he earned a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Minnaar is currently in the process of earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management. He is a member of the South African Medical Device Industry Association.
