SCHENECTADY, NY, December 3, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- David J. Maurice, LCSWR has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his exceptional effort in the healthcare industry. Throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Maurice has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
David is a Licensed Child and Family Therapist who runs his own private practice, treating families that have complex difficulties, offering compassion, mixed with hope and problem solving. He has a keen awareness and formulation of treatment based on values of each individual without compromising the family identity. Mr. Maurice is registered with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare. He remains up to date and follows best practices according to the Office of Mental Health. David has additional credentialing in Alcohol and Substance Abuse with SAMSHA.
During his collegiate career, David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Master of Social Work degree from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Mr. Maurice also provides assistance to youth groups with adventure based programs. In addition, he speaks locally as well as nationally.
