Anne Fitch-Dececchi's love of life, extenstive medical background and strong religious foundation are the motivation behind her exceptional educational resources and products

SAN DIEGO, CA, September 01, 2011 /Medical PR News/ -- Anne Fitch-Dececchi, Founder of Fitch Fertility Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in natural family planning.

Ms. Fitch-Dececchi became a registered nurse in 1948 and a certified midwife two years later. With decades of experience in working with pregnant women, she witnessed firsthand the introduction of contraceptives, the increase of the divorce rate and the rampant outbreak of sexually transmitted diseases. In addition, she became aware of the dangers of chemical and hormonal birth control. Ms. Fitch-Dececchi, an Irish native with a strong religious foundation, believes that natural family planning, developed by the late Dr. J. Billings of Melbourne, Australia in the 1950s, is the only authentic method of safe, natural, chemical-free, healthy and effective family planning.

Thus, Ms. Fitch-Dececchi established Fitch Fertility Center, a nonprofit organization through which she advocates her important cause. The organization, which can be found online at www.nfpcenter.com, offers a variety of products and resources meant to educate and assist couples in utilizing natural family planning. Among the products offered are two not-for-profit videos and DVDs produced by Ms. Fitch-Dececchi, which are mailed out as kits along with written materials. The first reviews the ovulation method of Dr. J. Billings; the second explains the sympto-thermal method. Every state in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Argentina, Nicaragua, Guatemala, South Africa, the Philippines and nine dioceses in India have been introduced to the Fitch Fertility Center Instruction program via the Center's Video/DVD Postal Kit.

The website also offers information about seminars provided by Ms. Fitch-Dececchi. These seminars, which are held at the Fitch Fertility Center in San Diego, Calif., empower couples to empowers couples to accurately identifty days of fertility, evaluate how changes in diet, travel, and exercise impact their overall health, and maintain physical and psychological balance through awareness of the natural rhythm of rest inherent their marital life.

Perhaps the most innovative product offered, however, are the Fertility Tracking Beads. These are attractive and adjustible strings of colored beads that are designed to aid women in tracking their reproductive cycles. They come with detailed instructions, as well as extra beads to allow customization. Ms. Fitch-Dececchi has been employed in nine dioceses in India, as well as the Diocese of San Diego, where youth group members at several Catholic parishes have helped her to produce a steady supply of these tracking beads for interested couples. Having originally developed the fertility beads for use in underprivileged nations, Ms. Fitch-Dececchi's organization has maintained a presence in India, especially the Tamilnadu region, for over ten years. Her educational material has been translated into a number of local Indian languages and the center's videotapes, DVD's, PowerPoint presentations and fertility bead have been well received throughout the country as well as in the Philippines.

Ms. Fitch-Dececchi encourages young girls to learn their fertility cycle and construct their own beads to match their cycle, believing that this will help girls develop an awareness and familiarity with their God-given gift of fertility. This may also lead them to evaluate prospective future spouses on his willingness to cooperate with the practice of natural family planning and determine his maturity and genuine concern for her health; therefore providing a strong foundation of a shared sense of love and responsibility. She reaches out to youth ministers, confirmation teachers and vocation directors who may be interested in introducing this bead project to the youth they work with.

In the years to come, Ms. Fitch-Dececchi plans to continue being a strong advocate for her cause. She attributes her success to her perseverance and her love of life- which is, after all, what natural family planning is all about: the true appreciation of love and life.
