The UC Davis Medical Center is the primary teaching hospital affiliated with the UC Davis School of Medicine. Joe Ann is involved in clinical research for medications related to chemotherapy and other cancer medications as well as weight loss and nutrition medications. She is responsible for scheduling nurses and contacting protocol to coordinate research sessions. During her collegiate career, Joe Ann earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and a Master's degree in Counseling from Harvest Theological School.
