John A. Silk Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
John A. Silk has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his outstanding professional career.
NORTH RIVERS, NSW, AUSTRALIA, September 16, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- John A. Silk has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his outstanding professional career. As Immediate Past President of Parkinson's NSW, as well as throughout his brilliant career, Mr. Silk has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1979, Parkinson's NSW is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to providing information, counseling, and support to people living with Parkinson's disease as well as obtaining research grants in order to discover new ways to combat the disease. The organization seeks to make a positive contribution to the provision of treatment and professional support services for people with Parkinson's disease. They also provide in-service training and education for health professionals.
Mr. Silk has been instrumental in raising funds and obtaining grants as well as serving as General Manager of the organization. During his collegiate career, he earned a degree in Food Technology. John is an Editorial Board Member of Parkinson's Australia and a member of Parkinson's UK.
